Google has announced they are adding biking directions in the U.S. to Google Maps."This new tool will open people's eyes to the possibility and practicality of hopping on a bike and riding," said Andy Clarke, President of the League of American Bicyclists. "We know people want to ride more, and we know it's good for people and communities when they do ride more - this makes it possible. It is a game-changer, especially for those short trips that are the most polluting,"

BWI trail condition

This afternoon (Monday) I cycled the BWI trail for the first time this year (2x around)! Conditions on the trail were good in general. There were a few points where I had to swerve around piles of black snow and some areas with undissolved salt, but otherwise the trail was dry and fairly clean. It was a beautiful afternoon for a ride! Which explains why I missed Mon eve spin class.... for those of you who don't know the trail, it is an 11 mile loop around BWI airport.
